The customer contacted me because they wanted a fairly large pergola in their yard. A fairly simple one, but it needed to be level with the rest of their yard, while the yard still needs to be finished by the customer. I started by digging in the concrete foundations and cutting the posts to length, bolted the posts to the foundations and put the beams on top. Then added the top timber girders and routed the grape vine over the top of the girders.
