For this customer I renovated the loft space into a new modern bedroom.
I worked together with the customer on this one, as he just wanted an extra set of hands for the project. We started by completely stripping the loft so we could start from scratch.
After demolition the extension was replaced by a new unit due to some timber rot and the overall condition. After this was done we used Metalstud to frame the entire ceiling for the insulation, electrical work, air conditioning unit and the plasterboard. when it was all plastered I made a custom window sill from a rough piece of oak. A closet was created with timber sheeting covered with bamboo slates. A floor was installed by 3rd party and the space was painted by the customer. The finished product was a modern, spacious and comfortable bedroom in an otherwise not used space.
