The customer, a friend of mine from my football days, contacted me for a bicycle veranda in the front yard for a specialised electrical bike for their daughter. The veranda was set to certain specifications such as height and width due to permit requirements. I started by digging the 4 holes for the concrete foundations and cut the 4 posts to size. Installed the posts and cat and installed the top support beams for the roof structure. I then installed the slats to support the roof sheeting an installed the EPDM together with the correct rain drainage. To finish it off I cut and installed the cladding onto a subframe screwed into the 4 main posts. The result is a simple but effective open shed for the specialised bike to keep it sheltered.
